I wish that there was an instrumental version of this. Nothing against the vocals, but where they are so prominent in the mix, it can be a bit distracting in respect to the rest of the instrumentation. I just wanna hear those icy guitars sometimes!

The music is so good the terrible lyrics and cheesy track names don't even matter.

This 4.0 is feeling way too harsh. If this current spin keeps being this incredible it might have to go.
The fact that it's my first great headphones-spin might have to do with it. It's beautifully layered.

I did some research on a good cost/quality balance and found out that Sennheiser HD 25-1 II are superb. Totally fell in love with their objectivity if that makes sense.

Cool. I just can’t be doing with over-ear style.
There will be a time when I have a ‘music room’ built at home where I’ll get a pair but until then it’s in-ear every time

Yeah I get that. It gets annoying after some time.
These are quite alright in that perspective though. They're very light for instance, and you can adjust the headband in many different ways.

Had very good experiences with Sennheiser over-ears. In-ear is something I only do while travelling.

Same here Rik.
The rating bump happened by the way. This is just too good. Onto Blue Bell Knoll now.

Wait what?! That one doesn't have a review yet?
Loving Miss Fraser's performance on Knoll. Could be her best?

If you plan to go through their discography, don't skip Moon & the Melodies, which was a collaboration with Harold Budd and is therefore not listed on their main site. It's good.
