Indeed.

The atmosphere here is really cool. Quite dark and brooding.

"will always be baffled by this album cover. is it meant to be creepy? its so fucking goofy looking"

I always liked it somehow, it looks a lot like a film poster

Finally getting on this one and loving it. This kind of raw metalcore is where its at boys.

People love to clown on this cuz of the Coalesce and Botch worship but I still feel Norma Jean made their own identity with this record. Still holds up so well

I'd say this is probably my favourite metalcore album of all time. So many amazing moments throughout this record and Scogin's performance is insanely good.

It’s not my favorite but it definitely stands the test of time. It’s so dark and oppressive, the 15-minute post-metal track kills and the Frodus-esque phxc tracks are a hella vibe. Still awesome to this day. Kinda hard to even consider it the same band as current Norma Jean lol

Well actually I did see them like in 2010 or something at Mayhem fest but I wasn't really into their music at the time and barely knew their songs.

Yeah I'm trying to see them this year too, but all my concert buddies are post hardcore guys so it might be a tough sell

bumping my rating cuz I never rated it how it is for me. Glad it’s getting its flowers. Yea the 15 minute track and the closer are the best on here.
