Tonight, I walked away from a Neurosis show.
I thought it was rather boring, 3 minutes ambiance between songs, bad setlist, and a new song I heard wasn't anything special.
I just don't think I was in the mood for Neurosis tonight, but still, rather dissapointed as they're my favourite band. They're imo the pinnacle of the genre, but after tonight, I think there's lots of room for improvement overall, especially songwriting. But I won't see it happening with Neurosis, as the new song was rather shite. But this site faps to whatever Neurosis puts out, even though they have plenty mediocre songs, so whatever.

As if anyone listens to you, you eat everything Neurosis makes up the ass.
They played At The End Of The Road, how can you justify that? It's one of the worst on this album. Just imagine, 3 minutes of ambiance, and then that intro. I like the part after that, but that 4 minute intro is a horrible idea, it just didn't work live for me.

Obviously not, but I just didn't feel it is the general idea. I thought Ufomammut, which played before them, kicked alot more ass. Alot of Neurosis felt rather stretched. Those long pauses inbetween songs are more shitty then you think, and way too long, because you know nothing is going to happen.
And idk, even though there's flaws, this is a metal classic, like alot of Neurosis'discography. I think Neurosis is the best band around atm, which they deserve 5's for. But because there are flaws, I hope there are bands that can do better, which makes me hopeful. There will always be flaws in albums, and that's good, otherwise you'll never hear something better.
