I think I've decided my fav MM record is Building Nothing out of Something though... holds up so well
for the most part. Lyrics for days. I listened to the most recent one the other day on a long car
ride.. not bad at all either. Their newer material is underrated to me.

I think so much of Good News is just good well written songs... even if it's way more toned down. Idk I really like most of it.
Building Nothing is a comp but it doesn't feel like one... it was all golden era MM tracks too. Can't really go wrong there.

it has some amazing songs yeah but the overly glossy production and a few zzz tracks kinda bring it down. it also ends waaay to abruptly, and if ya know me you know I love a great closer.

the LCW closer is fucking amazing. Basically I like a long, well-thought out and nicely composed track with a sort of "epic" feel that acts like a culmination of everything that came before it.
