This album has the highest replay value of any dt album besides The Gallery. Every song here rules.

The Gallery has to be one of the most overrated albums in the genre. It's up there with Slaughter of the Soul as albums that are rated way too high with very little redemption... that's right, I speak FACTS not FICTION
-- I couldn't help it.

Slaughter Of The Soul is horribly overrated but yeah Gallery is incredible.

I want them to re-record Skydancer. I love that album (Projector will always be my favorite, though).

Re-recording Skydancer with Stanne would be awesome. They did re-record "Alone" on Of Chaos And Eternal Night with Stanne on vocals, and it's one of my personal favorite DT songs, so I'm sure a re-recorded Skydancer would be fap-worthy.

I doubt they'd do it, but it would be awesome. I have Of Chaos And Eternal Night, but "Alone" isn't nearly one of my favs from Skydancer.

"Alone" isn't nearly one of my favs from Skydancer.
Same here, but the re-recorded version is a million times better than the original. "Shadow Duet" is probably my favorite from Skydancer itself.

Away, Delight, Away was my favorite but it's from Of Chaos And Eternal Night so yeah.

For insulting At The Gates Willie, your sentence is death by thrash. What a way to go. Just let me pick the bands.
btw. In Flames' Jester Race is overrated. Fact not Fiction. You're probably right, but I think people are just really surprised when they hear it that In Flames used to release things that didn't suck, and so they rate higher.
"Shadow Duet" is probably my favorite from Skydancer itself. Hell yeah, but I'm also a sucker for "A Bolt of Blazing Gold"

Fuck you guys The Jester Race rules.

Very true Willie though I wonder sometimes if it isn't some fans of the band or just some metal heads just being a bunch of bigots and being unable to accept the band's newer sound. Either way, with the exception of Colony, In Flames' (especially Anders Friden) has never been that great. I like the style of music that In Flames has moved into. I think the latest albums by Soilwork, Still Remains, etc are all pretty good. My main issue with In Flames' stuff is the terrible vocals. Colony is my favorite In Flames album.
What would be your choice of bands? In this genre? Carcass' Heartwork album, Sentenced - North From Here, Dark Tranquillity - Fiction, Ikuinen kaamos's Closure EP, Soilwork (almost all their albums).

I think that old In Flames is definitely overrated. It's good stuff, but nothing classic like a lot of people think. Dark Tranquillity beats the hell out of In Flames any day.

Closure is excellent.
The Absence - From your Grave
Arsis - A Celebration of Guilt/A Diamond For Disease
Autumn Leaves - As Night Conquers Day
Be'Lakor - The Frail Tide
Edge of Sanity - Crimson
Garden of Shadows - Oracle Moon
