Alison it ain't all about the shredding, thats what I'm saying. It's not even about the soothing

solos. It's about experimenting and trying out different compositional styles with foreign

instruments, with weird effects ala Steven Wilson, Robert Fripp (there's a guitarist he should try and

mimic more), and just changing things up. Maybe include jazz elements, funk, electronica, classical,

etc.
