Nah fam a 1?
Like I understand not liking the band or thinking they’re overrated (Christ knows I do). But a 1 to me is being unable to find a single redeeming thing on a record.
There aren’t any guitar riffs or instrumental passages here that you enjoy pika?
Personally, Descending is one of my favorite songs of the year.

I don't really rate that way, wildcard. My score is just a reflection of my overall enjoyment of the record. In this case, I was very bored. That's all there is to it, really.

'In spite of the fact that they have only released 5 full length albums over the last 26 years, Tool are one of the most popular hard rock bands in the world today. Their music contains elements of progressive rock, metal, and a brooding, artistic feel that has given Tool one of the most adoring fanbases in the world. Boasting Danny Carey, viewed by many as one of the best drummers alive, and the enigmatic Maynard James Keenan as a frontman, it is a surprise the band has such a following. The band's albums have enjoyed major success commercially and critically, with 1993's Undertow,1996's Aenima, 2001's Lateralus (rated 5 Stars by multiple magazines), and 2006's 10,000 Days (received a Grammy and was included on Rolling Stone's Best Of list). Despite being borderline alternative metal, the band has had a considerable amount of largely successful singles that have seen considerable radio and MTV play, such as the single "Sober" from Undertow, the singles"Stinkfist"and "Aenema" from Aenima, the single "Schism" from Lateralus, and the singles "Vicarious" and "The Pot" from 10,000 Days; "Schism" and "The Pot" being their most famous. Tool suck ass.'

You're right, I'm so envious of that 3.7 average.

Good artists X) Top fave bands of mine no doubts.
Loved this return to shape from Opeth, although I can't give them more than a 4 on this m/ They are definitely comfortable on this new genre now.
