Here's a new question: why the hell is it called A Moon Shaped Pool?
|
| |
why are any of their albums called what they are called
|
| |
holy shit the tracklist actually is alphabetical I thought that was a joke
|
| |
nope. straight up think they put all their songs in itunes to arrange them and see how different tracklistings would work and then said fuck it and just numbered them alphabetically as they naturally would appear in itunes

The best time to jam RH is after big cool off periods, hence why I'm not going to force myself to jam the new album repeatedly just so it lives up to my incredibly high standards I've set for the band.
|
| |
honestly makes it even more suspiciously compilation-esque

Amnesiac makes sense because there's a lot of lyrics are about forgetting, but I guess you're right about the rest

I feel like Identikit or Numbers would've been a better follow up to Burn the Witch.

I downloaded it from their website and the tracklist is the same order.

Moon Shaped Pool kind of suits the underwatery vibe of the more subdued tracks like the last 4 and daydreaming

yeah i was also wondering about the tracklist order. makes sense to close out with True Love Waits but I feel like it could flow better if they had it in a different order...any suggestions on what would be the best order?

for real though the new james blake is a good amount better than the new radiohead

i was definitely expecting them to break out of their comfort zone a bit more and I still want to see them do it. but i'm also happy that we got another album of radiohead doing radiohead.

| |
thats quite the deviation
