This album carries the same motif for most of it and it becomes tired and played out by the time the last track rolls around. And it's so woefully cheesy and ignorant and self-indulgent and commercial. I will way this: they're good at marketing themselves.

Hahaha Obscured by clouds, oh my God. That album is an unmitigated disaster! Animals has a very solid concept but is way too self-indulgent and arrogant in its presentation; Wish You Were Here is bottom 5 Pink Floyd (be fucking serious here, how is anything other than Shine On worth salvaging?) Meddle has their best song [Echoes] but overall is a slog; and most of their other stuff isn't even worth mentioning.

Okay, you're just stupid. I can see people finding it kind of weak or boring, but calling it a disaster makes no sense, especially since it's a soundtrack that's so good people think it's just a studio album.

They're overrated works, perpetuated by people like you who think they're masterpieces. On the surface albums like Animals seem great. Their politic bent stuff is always engaging at least lyrically, but superb lyrics and conceptual execution does not an enjoyable album make.
