I agree that My Arms is better. And "Harvest" isn't bad but it's not the best on here for sure. The songs are too long on here-"Blackwater Park" has that ridiculous slow bit in the middle, "Bleak" takes too long to build back up and "Dirge for November" is three minutes too long

still need to check MAYH again, but i prefer this. the production and atmosphere on MAYH is the key for some, but i think that's precisely why i'm not big on the album. i generally prefer the type of production found here, or at least when it comes to opeth. i like to be able to hear every instrument as clean as possible, but thats just a matter of taste.



i also prefer the songwriting on here, and harvest rules
