i'm a big fan of hip hop & think kendrick has more then earned his place among the legends of the genre.i think GKMC has a great over all drawn out concept a good person growing up in a corrupted environment nothing ILLmatic hasn't already done a long time ago.i always find myself coming back to Sec. 80 & TPAB & don't really find myself wanting to listen to GKMC.GKMC is far from a bad album but for me it has some of the most mediocre songs of the three mentioned albums & some of the best tracks from the GKMC era are bonus tracks or unreleased on the album at all i don't see how cartoons & cereal wasn't even added as a bonus track that song fits into the concept perfectly!

Cartoons and cereal is one of his best songs and yet I don't know what album it's even on. This has got some outstanding songs though. Sherane, art of peer pressure, the title tracks and sing about me are all top notch.
