Well guys, from all I see everyone here is judging the album as to how it compares to White Pony which is not fair in any way. Before I listened to this record I did not even know that The Deftones existed and I actually had it for about 6 months before I listened to it on a a very boring Sunday afternoon because I needed to get out of a rut and needed to listen to something new. It blew me away!!!! Why am I saying this? A lot of people here are judging the album to how it compares to W.P instead of seeing how great this album is in its own right which is not fair because every album will always be a little inferior to it.(yeah I listened to it much later after I realized I had gotten a new favorite band and needed to listen to the rest of their work) This record was a masterpiece guys and have listened to it at least 5 times a week since I first got my hands on it and it still amazes me. By far my favorite record from 2010.

BTW the reason why I had never heard of this guys is the country I am from people have a real shitty taste of music and there is no way a band this good and original can be heard here. I thank sputnik for helping me find a tonne of great bands. This is an awesome site full of assholes though, assholes with great taste in music.
