Also the game ended up being fun and the mildest December game I’ve ever been to in NE weatherwise. Was fun seeing Herbert sling it and Pats fans going nuts

dude had one awesome draft, and was shortly after given a lifetime pass because andrew luck retired SIX seasons ago. he has gone through four different head coaches under his tenure, and has given big money/invested high draft capital into philip rivers (who was actually good but essentially forced into retirement in favor of...) carson wentz, matt ryan, and now anthony richardson.

i guess its hard to parse how much of this is his doing and how much its irsay putting his dick on the table but i mean cmon now most other gms aren't surviving even half these past 8(!) seasons with his track record let alone getting praised for "saving cap space" season after season after season after season
