Dunno what to tell you. mama knows is one of his best tracks, Compton is fuckin awesome and all around the world isn't bad, although it's one of the worst from those CDs . You might wanna get your ears checked

yeah its an imitation, its just a basic survival story, the kind that has been beaten to death by virtually every rapper ever, for the past 30 years. If anything Kendrick's version is especially narcissistic. The only thing this excels in is production, sometimes in energy (backseat freestyle), but overall the bad lyrics and gimmicky flow are overlooked flaws that ruin this album.

"Ready to Die" is a pretty narcissistic record. Narcissism isn't necessarily a negative when evaluating a record.
