I love the way Dark Horse flows into Reap What You Sow, but I love odd time signatures in general, so I might be biased. Effigy has great guitar hooks, Cruel Bloom is the perfect soundtrack to a western movie set in hell, and then there's Wretched World.
Not really what I would call a bad album.

Dark Horse was actually the song that turned me into a Converge fan, so it holds a special place in my heart

It was Homewrecker for me, although I also love Dark Horse.
I somewhat agree with Robertsona in that I don't listen to this band for their slower builds, in spite of this they still manage to be mostly enjoyable regardless.

Yeah home wrecker for me too, concubine-distance and meaning kinda turned me off the band but when homewrecker came on it all started to click

concubine was my first and I was thrilled right from the start tbh

Concubine was the first Converge song I ever heard, but it was too much for me and it turned me off of the band until Axe to Fall rolled around. Took me quite a while to come around to Jane Doe too because it was so overwhelming for the longest time.
