I haven’t heard it, it’s from these sessions??
And yeah… I’ve just come to accept it right now. I needed something that would hit and thought of this record. God I think it’s even better than I remember it being.
Obligatory fuck Alexis but holy fuck what a record

And skipping out on Crippling Alcoholism is wild, those guys are killer. Idk how you can just be meh on tracks like despair and Ottessa.
I do completely agree that this absolutely clears all of their records but they for sure scratch the same itch

Yeah, they just put this out. Pretty interesting, and no Alexis so win win.

Ditz and Haunted Horses also hit similar vibes to this album. I haven’t listened to this since the Alexis allegations.

I’m really loving the demos, tho I do kinda wish they had some vocals on them. What’s weird for me is that I would much rather have the finished record instrumentals and demos with Alexis. I want to hear every fine little detail on this thing… which I kinda can with the demos but it’s not really the same.
I’m bitching just to bitch, I’m glad Nick put it out. I wish I hadn’t been so drunk when I saw them live because I barely remember it and have no goddamn clue how they played some of these songs with only four guys. Nick is also just a wicked creative, some of his tones are seriously just so fucked, I don’t know how someone gets a guitar to fucking sound like that in a lot of places on this, and some of their early shit
