ngl i think i'm just weak for anything with good piano playing + good guitar tone that's well-performed and feels even vaguely like a post-rock structure was implemented. This album has some genuinely neat piano parts and I like how thick and bass-y the guitar feels without barraging you with it all the time.
i guess don't take me seriously i like almost anything piano/atmosphere-focused unless something there's annoying enough to distract me from it, i gotta second Tundra on the Hozier comparison on the vocals tho

johnny i seem to recall you being a lot more chill in like 2019 or so and just sharing cool obscure stuff from japan and not quite being the stickler you are today
then again i really wasn't as much of a stickler about production in 2018-2019 i don't think so we both changed in our own ways

People be crazy on this site. This is album has become one of my all time favorites. Sleep Token has made an amazing experience for me personally. They are a band that people either absolutely love or just flat out hate. It is what it is.
