More like The Game Says Dr. Dre Called "The Documentary 2" The Best Rap Album In 5 Years, so what
|
| |
Album Rating: 3.0
so
the guy that produced GKMC says Documentary 2 is gonna be better
sounds like a good reason to think Game is going to make 'something of substance again'

I'm still not sure man. Dre didn't produce GKMC, he was the exec on it. Documentary 2 looks like it has a long list of different producers on it too.
Definitely not doubting that it's going to be 'something of substance', but all this talk of it being the best rap album in 5 years is cheap as far as I'm concerned. Get it out and we'll see.
Best rap album in five years, ten years, this means nothing to me...

"i agree ed it's annoying when people come in onto a discussion and make it known that they've importantly taken the back seat with all the smugness in the world, like just fuck off do you have to advertise your intellectual superiority by being meta and pissing around with assclown self-gratifying statements"
lol settle down it's just an internet forum

theres reason to believe its gonna be that good. Doctors Advocate and the RED album were borderline classics that never got the praise they deserved cuz of a few shitty pop-single tracks. The documentary wasn't even a classic but its what most consider to be Game's classic, cuz it had great production. This time Game's evolved his lyricism for over ten years since The Documentary, AND he will have the best production hes ever worked with... it's obviously not the best album in 5 years before it comes out, but I sure as hell dont know what other album you are looking forward to more.

Doctors Advocate and the RED album both inconsistent albums with a multitude of poor tracks, plus a 'few shitty pop singles' pretty much render them far and away from classics

dude i'm just joking around hahah

theres hardly a single poor track on either of those albums, name 5
|
| |
Album Rating: 4.5
Well wouldn't those "shitty pop singles" count as poor tracks?
|
| |
Album Rating: 3.0
yeah they count, but besides those shitty pop singles, which are only bad for their hooks alone, and have worthwhile verses, there is virtually no bad tracks on either of those albums. far from it.

Lmfao nothing on those albums is impressive by any means

If an album is going to be considered a near classic, I'm pretty sure almost every single track has to be solid. If an album has multiple tracks that have sub-par hooks (which apparently make the entire song automatically shitty), it doesn't deserve to be considered anything classic.

yeah they are so unimpressive he only went tripple plaitunum right guyz
whats really impressive is a gimmicky been-done-before flow, a #blacklives matter message and 'kool beats dood'.
I edited my comment from "you dont know what you are talking about"to "name 5 bad tracks" to give you a chance to not look like a jackass who just states his shallow opinion and says "LMFAO", but what do you know, should of went with my first instinct.
