Think I was 19 when I first heard In the court and was completely blown away by it.
Red, on the other hand was a whole different story though. Had to reach my late 30's to give it another try and realise its probably best KC.

Probably, but In The Court was a landmark, an album too ahead in time.
Personally, I love both equally.

First heard Schizoid Man through Shining’s cover of it when I was like 15/16. Started listening to this album around 16/17. Got it on vinyl as well. But yeah, each time I listen to this album, even though I have been listening to it for 3 - 4 years, it still blows me away.

hmm, I found Red immediately digestible as a metal enjoyer - kinda works coming in from that direction
This took longer but it was also my first KC experience. I do remember being instantly very impressed at how early it was released
The current rising star is Larks. The barrier to entry on that one was hard to overcome initially

I agree. Lark's is an album much more hard to enter. The same happens with Lizard. But both are two amazing works too.

CONFUSION WILL BE MY EPITAPH
Love that part. One of the best melodies in all of classic rock.

Agreed. Lake had an amazing voice. One of the best singers I've ever heard.

Definitely. While I don’t think he quite has the power as other bands at the same time but he knows exactly what the song needs. Never overdoes or underdoes a vocal line.

I can relate. First heard this maybe around 20. In my 30s now and this still blows my mind.

I agree. Wetton was pretty good as well, though Lake might be my fave KC vocalist.

I also agree. Both were two amazing vocalists. Two of my favourites, really.

Court and Red are clear high points, but Lizard has really grown on me.

Not sure what put me in the mood to come back to this. Guess I've been watching a lot of music theory and song writing related videos on YouTube. Watching videos of prog musicians live. Either way, I'm glad I'm here. Shit's peak. I forget how melancholy these guys can feel a lot of the time.

In a Bible Black mood but yeah it'sa KC day
