It's mostly ok for me. I often feel like they attempted to make a post-metal album but their style didn't fit. Both Adam and Justin have contributed with Isis so it's not hard to believe, other than Tool has toured with Isis in the past.

"The interludes are way too much. Very unwelcome. Glad they didn't fit on the physical version."

wait, so in addition to making a totally overpriced physical version with no cheap alternative, they did not even put the album in its entirety on it?

The album is too long for one disc with interludes included, that's the only reason.

I'd buy a disk for ~$20. I don't see the interludes as an issue, but I wouldn't fret without 'em.

I'm feeling this is probably their last release, so it would be cool to have in my collectsh.

Do the interludes actually add anything to the album experience?

I'm sure. It's the quirky thoughts between the deeper thoughts - creating more space. A reminder to not take it too seriously.

too long for one disc? So what? Make it 2 discs. If you can do a speaker with a hologram you can add a second disc. Sorry, but deleting part of the album on the overpriced physical copy is just poor. No matter the quality of said interludes (I think they are good)

Yeah, what we really need is an extra disc for the troll interludes...

Does it really come down to the band, or the independent companies selling their stuff? Can they put a cap on their merch?

I’m pretty shocked that they still haven’t released more copies, or released a standard edition. They are leaving huge amounts of money on the table. It’s just hard to comprehend that they would do that.

Glad I pre ordered mine the day pre order sales were announced. I didn’t really think it was necessary to order so early and almost waited a few weeks. Scary thought.

If they wait any longer, they're going to lose this buyer

Yeah man, it’s crazy. Wonder if a standard release will coincide with the start of the tour? Who knows. I mean, what the hell were they thinking? They made such a paltry amount of copies. They disappeared off of the billboard charts after that first week. Really wondering how subsequent sales weeks would have been.
