In my opinion, it's pretty shit. It doesn't take anything away from what he's already done, though. If anything it makes me appreciate his other stuff more and lowered my anticipation for anything new. In your opinion, it is great, so this clearly doesn't apply to you.

i can see how people would dislike the spastic soul vibe thats common - i love this album but i wouldnt say its because of that

Even though I like the album, there are a few things about it that I could see people taking as negatives
The poem getting annoying by the end, the interview, Kendrick's utilization of different voices becoming obnoxious, too many repetitious lyrical moments ("I know everything", "Lucy gon'...", "boo boo"), not liking the aesthetic of the album, feeling it as overlong, inconsistency, perceiving Kendrick to be trying way too hard, seeing the concepts as more well-thought out than the songs themselves, etc.
