the most mainstream friendly yeezy album was graduation.

I dunno, i think people r either gna be like SHIT HES SO CREATIVE, or hate it.

personally it doesnt seem that out there for me. 808s was his "weird" album.

that's not what i'm saying though, i'm saying that people are going to find this weird and strange because even though it's much more minimalistic than mbdtf, it's going to come off as abrasive to a mainstream audience, at least i think. i don't find it very weird at all, but i also don't listen to top 40 radio exclusively.

i thought that too when 20/20 dropped but I can't explain to you how many people bitch about that album just because of the song lengths.

I cant wait for the metalheads to comment on it... their comments on anything and everything (apart from metal) is so biased.

it's not that abrasive, it just isn't hook based like this is. but rapping's popular all over the mainstream. this won't yield any chart toppers but neither did mbdtf. commercially this will do fine.

I havent listened to mainstream radio for aaaaages... but it seems like its at a very very very low point right? just judging from the youtube ads i painfully have to sit through. if yeezy became the face of mainstream (again) wouldnt that be a good thing for the world???
