I wasn't really into the album, and then the second song ''Fire at Static Valley'' started and completely blindsided me, extremely sad song, and it builds into an overpowering mammoth, the sound gets more and more intense and loud and the visuals they were showing were like broken down buildings and decay, and it was all very sad really. After that I was fully engaged with the album. It has some voice samples on it again. And it ends with an almost joyous sounding part, which sounds like if it were possible to wage war/fight in a happy/joyous way. Hard to describe.

btw I read some reviews and people keep calling the second and last track ''drones'' which seems strange to me. Both have string instruments, and the second has clear guitar in it and a coherent melody, how is it a drone?

Much of its 52 minutes is dominated by two longform pieces, each starting with recordings of shortwave radio transmissions – maybe the only form of communication that will be left after the societal collapse this lot perpetually anticipate.
