i dont revisit this album too often anymore but it has such an atmosphere to it, especially with all of the quiet moments like the mid section in "Ticks & Leeches" and other songs. very powerful album.

I still love this record, and I can appreciate a lot of their lyrics, but man, some Tool fans just get crazier and crazier.
Not that any of this is new, but it never get old reading posts by idiots who think they are "enlightened" because they listen to Tool and that they've reached the "Lateralus state". "But Danny Carey arranges his drums to the flower of life bro". I almost feel bad for those people, but honestly I can't really blame anyone who hates Tool fans because of them lol

That is true.
Normally I don't care, but an old friend was talking about Tool "making it rain" when they played Flood at some show, and making it stop as the song ended. Of course, she was on acid too, but legit believes they changed the weather. I've seen a lot of Tool fans like that online, but sincerely hoped nobody I knew would ever end up like that lol
