Rain When I Die
Every other song

Oh trust me, in my mind it's a 5. One of the hardest 5's. It doesn't need another on this site though, the average is huge.

Rain When I Die is obviously an all-timer but I gotta be a normie here and say that Would? is my pick for best track

Honestly, you could say like ten different songs on here are the best and you wouldn’t hear an argument from me.

I think Sickman / Damn That River / Rooster probably hang around the low end of the 5/5's here, with all other songs on the high end. And then Rain above those, somehow.

Sickman, Godsmack, Junkhead, Would, Dirt and Rain When I Die are my tops here. Hate to Feel is super underrated too.

And In Utero > Nevermind btw. But In Utero isn’t as good as this or Superunknown.

I'd argue this was the single best album to come out of the grunge scene. Soundgarden and Nirvana both have a lot of great stuff, but this thing is just in a league of its own.

Oh, I absolutely agree with that statement. But Superunknown is a close second imo.

Agreed this is goat grunge album

Fuuuuuck I need to buy this already, I keep forgetting I don't already own it so every time I'm in a record store I don't even think to look for it ):

OG pressing is pretty rare. Judging by discogs avg price is around 80 bucks but I guess noone owning one wants to sell it (rightfully so)

Junkhead and the T/T are the most brutal to listen to imo, great songs though

To put it into context with other band examples:
Alice In Chains = Black Sabbath
Nirvana = Sonic Youth / Pixies
Soundgarden = Led Zeppelin
Pearl Jam = (Obviously some influence from the most "glam" band out of Seattle Mother Love Bone, but Eddie Vedder always referenced Fugazi in everything)
Comparison between them is just kind of a moot point since they are all from different worlds. I like them all on their own.
