I don’t watch cfb at all but is shedeur primarily a. Pocket passer? His rush stats look ass but idk if it counts sacks/kneels.

Also I can’t imagine a world where I would want my parent to be my coach/superior from childhood through to the pros seems like a weird power dynamic, esp given how extreme Deion can be

Forgot you were a giants fan snake lol. Yea giants don’t deserve him after letting go of saquon and drafting jones. At least we’re tanking with dignity 😂

I’m not that high on anyone in this draft from a qb standpoint said it before but leave it to the raiders to tank a year after the best qb class in ages

I'd rather have Cam Ward than Sanders but I am not gonna pretend to be a qb prospect expert. You never really know who pans out until they are there

He looks really slow and some of his throws have been baffling. Luckily he’s in a volatile division so his team will continue to try since they have a shot

i can't believe belichick to north carolina is real life.

i actually think it works now with college being more like the pros every year. and schematically he will be so far ahead plus his nepo son steve is actually very good at his job. one of the most fascinating hires in sports history. exciting!

obligatory fuck robert kraft

honestly unbelievable the greatest coach in nfl history cannot get an nfl head coach job because a fucking owner is scared it'll hurt his hall of fame chances if he succeeds coaching a team that isn't his own. just absolutely pathetic.

idk if he makes sense for any openings considering how old he is. with college you can win right away in one season now.

he'd need a team with a stacked roster ready to win within a few years.

cowboys? doubt he'd work for jerry. jets? lol nope

seems like he doesn't care as much about the record as some people think he does. would rather look out for his son which is honestly commendable given the circumstances.

kraft is quietly the most powerful figure in the league behind jerry, and is more than happy weilding that influence. belichick was pretty much set to be the falcons head coach last offseason until kraft talked blank out of it at the 11th hour... and who knows how many teams didn't even bother with belichick last offseason because of kraft.

that doesn't even include the embarrassing amount of effort and money kraft has put into rewriting history between all these new patriots dynasty books and docuseries trying to minimize belichick and maximize kraft's contributions to the team.

yeah i don't doubt that did happen and think belichick would've been a better hire by the falcons. but i still don't think he's right for any job this year especially since he's insistent on bringing his buddies with him which will work in college but won't fly in the nfl. that's why i was insistent against him being the jags coach. i'm excited to see what he can do in college though, it's history!

I don’t believe that Kraft has that much power. He got denied HoF election again (obviously a different scenario but shows what industry people think of him). I’d probably put Jerry Jones, the Rooneys, John Mara above Kraft in terms of league influence.

That said, Kraft is a snake in the grass and he is quickly losing favor from NE fans.

the rooneys and maras have that old money conservative influence just from being two of the only original ownership families left but they're solidly 2nd tier to jerry and kraft. would even say their influence is fleeting due to the fact they are increasingly becoming two of the least wealthy ownership groups in the league.

jerry has so much power the cowboys aren't even included in the league's revenue share (despite of course generating the most revenue of any nfl team every year for the past 50+ years). dude even threatened secession from the league and removing gooddell as commissioner over the zeke suspension a while back. he's been the top power broker in the league pretty much since firing jimmy johnson.

as for kraft, dude has pretty much lead every tv negotiation since the pats dynasty began, and has been the biggest proponent behind the scenes for stuff like thursday night football, international expansion etc. and also similarly took the nfl to the supreme court over the brady suspension. he also saved the pats from a near certain move to st. louis in the early 90s, and got belichick to resign as head coach of the jets the day of his introductory press conference which happened before all the super bowls even.

no other owners operate while giving less fucks than those two guys. if any other owners attempted to operate like they do they'd be removed like snyder. most of these owners take a backseat to them because all they care about is printing money and jerry + kraft do it better than anyone.
