Rand Paul is who I support, i've supported Ron Paul for years. Establishment democrats and republicans are shit, and although Bernie Sanders is anti-establishment, he's a delusional ideologue who thinks 'the country' can afford to pay for (for example) everyone's education, because Norway did it, when were 16 trillion dollars in debt and haven't balanced a budget in about 60 years.
The real problem is the government guaranteeing student loans destroys the idea of a free market, which would lower the cost of education, and it allows colleges to charge anything they want, no matter how high, because people still pay because they can't be denied a government loan.
Paying for everyone's education would just be another step in the wrong direction of overpaying colleges, but all college kids are concerned about is them not paying, not if this is sustainable for the country.

people supporting democrats have virtually no understanding of the in-sustainability of democratic philosophy regarding tuition and colleges. They actually think all universities being free is a legitimate idea, this is Barry Sander's own bill that he created. For people actually concerned with the sustainability of the country, the only solution to lower education costs is to stop having the government gaurantee student loans, so that universities cant charge whatever they want in tuition, and know they will get that price.

That pretty much the cool thing to be on campuses is Libertarian.
Seriously, it's gotten swept up in the counter culture movement. College kids are super adamant about being Libertarian.
Even though the entire philosophy is just as idealized as Liberalism and Conservatism.
