How the hell do people not like Heavenfaced?! Then like Fireproof.

Is Heavenfaced just too schmaltzy or something? I’ll admit the freezer, griever, fever etc part is pretty silly, but it’s such a beautiful, inspiring song otherwise.

Need My Girl is classic Natty and I will hear no other opinions. And I arrived at that opinion before knowing how disproportionately popular the song was.

Just bought tix to see these guys on Sept 2. Hyped baby.

And got tix for Bad Books August 18th so some good shows coming up.

And after two more listens of TWFM, this is definitely my favorite. Hard 4.5. Could become a 5.

Ok had to bump to a 5. Aside from Fireproof, this album is perfect. Holy shit I can’t stop listening to it. This is the first National album where I pretty much love every song.

Need my Girl is 3/5, Heavenfaced 3.5/5 and everything else is 4+

So it's consistent as hell and their best album overall

I don't like Side A of High Violet quite enough.

Boxer beats HV for me.

All three are 5s

splitting hairs honestly, i have hv and boxer at 5 while this and alligator are at 4.5 but in all seriousness i can make a case for any of them to be my fave depending on the day. the days where i prefer hv and boxer just come more often

Alligator is far and away their best, agreed. This evokes the same reaction in me as the new one.

The avg should be just as high as the holy trinity — for me, higher (but I know that’s personal taste and they’re all objectively pretty equal).

Yeah man, I do continue to keep going back to Alligator, Boxer and HV. I’d say HV is the one that’s growing the most but Boxer does also.

Most underrated here is either Heavenfaced or Hard to Find. They don’t get enough love.

Heavenfaced rubs some people the wrong way but I love it. Fireproof was actually the song that first grabbed me on initial listens and I got funny looks for that

I know man, I went back and read a bunch of the comment pages and so many people dump on it lol. I truly don’t get it. Great song.

Fireproof is the only song I’m not into. Love everything else though. A lot.
