Subterranean is a good EP, but it was really just a transition between Lunar Strain and The Jester Race, i.e. the band finally having a stable vocalist. Sub can be compared to Black-Ash Inheritance, which in turn was really just a transition between The Jester Race and Whoracle.
In my opinion, the Jester Race is the best by far. Whoracle and Colony are both on about the same the level. I am not sure what I think about Lunar Strain yet, it's one of those albums that I need to listen to many times before I can make up my mind on it.

Lunar Strain has such strong jams, such as the title track and Behind Space. Its really an amazing album, greatet than Whoracle and Colony imho.
