"'No Prayer for the Dying' is ridiculously better than this"
Can't agree with that

Title track deserves to be on a better album, definitely my fav Iron Maiden song

Def some cool moments on here but Bruce's vocals are kinda inconsistent imo. Especially on the first few he sounds so much less forceful and resonant compared to beast/powerslave/seventh son, literally went to the album's Wikipedia to see if he was dealing with throat issues or something at the time but it doesn't look like it so maybe my ears are playing tricks on me?

Nah, you're right Komp. After 7th son he changed his register to that raspy gurl gurl singing, you can hear it specifically on his first solo album too.
In some songs like t/t and Judas he keeps the old register so they are my favorites off this.

He tried to sound meaner but it came off a bit goofy. Still think this album is underrated tho

I thought this was a good album but nothing close to the greatness of their 80's albums, I don't understand the hatred people have for "Chains Of Misery", I actually enjoy that song, it is catchy and easy to like, the worst songs are "The Apparition" and "Weekend Warriors", this would've been a much better album if these two songs were omitted.
Highlights: "Be Quick Or Be Dead", "Afraid To Shoot Strangers", "Judas Be My Guide" and "Fear Of The Dark"
Lowlights: "The Apprition" and "Weekend Warriors"
