I don't mind Different World as an opener tbh, it kinda eases you in. Brighter Than a Thousand Suns is awesome and one of my favourites but I'm not sure I'd want it as an opener as I think in some ways the impact is made greater by the build up to it.

Oh, I agree. But just think how radical an Iron Maiden album opening in 7/8 would be. That song has the best intro riff on the album.

Agree with this so much. There is no better place for Different World on the album, were it to appear later on I'm fairly sure it would come across as a relatively weak song.

not my fave album excellent listen but i do find it hard work if you pick out a few tracks they sound great but to listen to it in one go i find everything sounding the same , and to top it off went to see them in earls court where they played this all the way through where the crowd only came alive when the encore started
