I didnt listen to the whole thing yet but it sounded a lot less memorable and distinct than Stare and the one before that imo

last song was the best. songs tend to just keep on going. and then going some more. until finally they continue to go for longer.

Leaning towards a 4 on this but haven't really been able to dedicate a full hour to just listening to it. Hopefully I'll be able to absorb it more fully soon

"The onslaught of cymbal strikes, blast beats, technical riffs, and reverb-drowned vocals is admittedly intriguing at face-value, but grows tired rather quickly. The lack of innovation and memorable hooks makes the cacophony feel more like a plodding chore, rather than a compelling experience. Within minutes of starting the album, you'll find yourself lulling in and out of focus, trying to find some semblance of memorability amidst the white noise."

You sound like the heaviest album you listened to in your life was a guns n'roses album or something if this sounds like "plodding white noise". There's so many awesome riffs and memorable hooks in this thing, and it all flows great. The production is on point, too.

Reading this thread made me realize Ulcerate have become the Tool of death metal. Interesting turn of events...
