I can empathize with that there are certainly genres where I feel that way also but I listen to so much metalcore I don’t vibe very hard with run of the mill stuff. If the songwriting is going to be “basic” there better at least be some riffs and to me the new one had neither.

The camels back has broken for me with JT yeah. Dude is one of the most boring vocalists in the scene honestly. He lacks personality.

No point in fixing what isn't broken, I would have had these sentiments with Neon maybe but I really didn't care too much for that album, huge step backwards in production while cure was a 2 steps forward
