Both of the recent singles have a lot of good stuff going on until the choruses hit. Their drummer just does not match their overall vibe at all, and his voice is pretty grating most of the time. I just wanna listen to Matt be an angry boi.

Loved the cleans on the last album, but here it seems so forced and unnecessary, even if the hooks themselves are good. Just feels like too much. Similar to Cattle Decapitation upping the goblin singing after Monolith. Works better when used sparingly

Don't really get the forced negativity targeted towards the clean vocals. There's far, far, far more grating examples than what the drummer is doing here (The Amity Affliction immediately comes to mind).

Bro sounds like a temu Cove Reber he's perfectly aight. Sounded real good on May This Pain, kinda indifferent about them on some of their other tracks.
