Thinking about seeing their Aus tour next year but they aren't coming to Adelaide so I'd have to go over to Melbourne with a mate. Would be a lot of fun but also quite an expensive exercise.

^ yeah it should be that or Iron Man or Paranoid right? something with a distorted guitar at least. but Planet Caravan is my favourite and i've met some other people who say the same. everything about that is perfect - the percussion, the vocals, the piano they add under the solo...



this was my training wheel guitar album too when i was learning, jamming Electric Funeral and trying to play Iron Man with the powerchords instead of single notes.

Planet Caravan is my favourite too. They all fuckin rock but Planet Caravan has that special something. Really atmospheric.

And it's fun as fuck to just jam on that bassline for ages.

the iommi has such a sweet solo in it that's why

All the effects Iommi does in it are sweet, the song is about driving a fucking caravan through outer space and the music conveys that feeling perfectly. It's absurd.
