Frankly I would've likely preferred a cover of that coming from the side of the scene that gave us MCR, The Used, Story of the Year, Thursday, that side (excluding Panic and Fall Out Boy because honestly those two bands never did anything for me). A lot of the 2000s post-grunge guys sounded mostly the same, it was the "mall emo" scene and the precursors to it that really had the good vocal style for my liking.

so after like 5 listens I think its safe to say the boys unironically delivered here. they were never gonna top p4, but i'm more than happy with what we got.
atropos has finally reached banger territory after i called it maybe the worst periphery song ever a couple weeks ago. however, i think the biggest gripe i have left is i do not like atropos following wildfire. it just starts out way too "relaxed" (for lack of better word) for how wildfire ends.
swap atropos with everything is fine and i think the first half would flow much better. i like the idea of the album's heaviness peaking 15 minutes in only for it to be built back up over the next 15 from the start of wax wings to the end of atropos, with the really dark hanging chords that close atropos transitioning into silhouette (as opposed to spencer screaming his brains out)

I mean pardon me for not really hearing the emotive vocal styles we hear today much in older music bar a singer or two, most guys and girls back in the 60s that got into music just sounded super... plain, not a lot of emotion to their sound.
As for switching Everything Is Fine and Atropos, naaaaaaaah. I like the ebb-and-flow format a lot better, calm before the storm type of pacing always gets me.

People act like 60s music is the zenith of music and dismiss most things after it is my main issue, I like 60s music but some have to really get off their high horse

also based on this, paramore, and lil yachty i'm guessing you 100% need a 3.6+ avg to qualify for the trending list... which i feel like is kinda lame cause that's not really what trending is
watching this flicker back in forth from #1 to not even on the list is pretty funny tho

I'm 27, I've never spun anything by Frontierer, and I believe emotion was invented by God somewhere between the 3rd and 4th day when he was up too late and thinking too much. I think I'm all caught up with this dumpster fire. Now someone tell me why my music taste sucks, and my opinion is invalid.
