--Really could've done without the stupid brutal breakdown in the new track--

Agreed if they're trying to branch out, they need to stop making breakdowns mandatory.

Pain Remains I doesn't have one of those, but yeah it's definitely a rarity for them haha

Pain Remains II doesn't have a momentum-killing breakdown, at least.

All I know about this band is apparently their crowds are full of tiktokers but fuck I need to see Black Dahlia Murder on tour so I guess it's time to spin some Lorna

That's one hell of a Deathcore lineup. I would get numb to it after a while though hahaha.

Newest song Prison Of Flesh is what you'd expect, although out of the 3 new songs it is imo the best one, hits pretty damn hard

good to see I'm not the only one who thought the breakdown at the end of the newest track was like ticking a box, they're making it a gimmick at this point and it's starting to be detrimental to the compositions

the kids love it tho, apparently

I agree that this single is probably the best of the 3. I know they write the same song over and over again but I still enjoy listening to them from time to time. Can't deny that Will is incredible too.

what ive taken from the singles is that the vox are more extreme, the breakdowns are more extreme, but the songwriting, atmosphere and instrumentation have all gone backwards. band is just the will ramos show now. until the solo 5 mins in, legit couldnt tell if there were even guitars on the track, and the drumming is super one dimensional

band is just reaction vid core at this point

Between Sleep Token and "reactionvidcore" and the legends dying or retiring, real metal has been hurting hard lately. We need a seminal album drop like right fucking now.
