i do check their charts occasionaly
they deffo buttlick mediocore less than we do. not to say it doesnt happen, but its less than us

tbh their esoteric charts are great for hidden gems, I use it a lot alongside bandcamp.

yes i used to browse the esoteric metalcore charts a lot. had to stop because i just a neverending list of core that stretched on and on and on.....
still doing my run through of the sputnik top 200 metalcore chart tho. so far, everything i havent heard is like a 3 lol

And charts are scary, I just hear whatever I can hear while acknowledging I'll never get to it all/I'll inevitably miss good stuff. Just far too much out there.

Let me rephrase my RYM question: anyone have a guess for why this has such a low average relative to All Hail?
Like I prefer All Hail but 3.50 for that vs 3.1x for this is a pretty huge gap by RYM standards

Worst thing you can try to do is make sense of the RYM hivemind.
Every website has a hivemind, but theirs always has me scatchin' my head. You can usually sniff out the Sputcore before it blows up.
