Yeah dude, it slaps so fucking hard and I’m just like thinking about what if Conway or any of those guys were on it instead and I get big sad

I’ve listened to this bunch, searching for some kinda spark I’m missing, but I just don’t think it’s here.

"I'm shocked I haven't seen more love for Worldwide Steppers. Beat is filthy, beat switch is sick, and the storytelling is gripping"

this was the other one that stood out to me. only on disc 2 atm

The more I listen to this the colder I am on it. I want to like it because it does touch on so many personal things and big topics, but fuck it puts me to sleep so quickly.

Yeah, the beat switch on Steppers could have been drawn out a bit too. One of the best moments on the album. Sounds like that song came from a much better album tbh.

Wasted alchemist beat on we cry together. Your telling me you got one the goats behind the boards and prob the best instrumental on the album and you ruin that beat with the weirdo shit that was goin on ??

By all accounts and common knowledge this guy is a great writer and very thoughtful in his work. One big problem that always kept me from listening to him much was his voice, I don't like it. That one simple thing ruins his stuff for me, unfortunately. Like legit if he had a deeper voice I would listen to him more.

I think artists of all genres and statures should be barred from mentioning/alluding to covid in their music. Nothing takes me out of a song faster

yeah we cry together is like some bargain bin "kim". idk man, a lot of this is just boring as shit, but the prod is solid and there are defintiely some standout tracks (there always are on kendrick albums tho)
