nfr was mad overrated. lots of stylish, lush production, but no substance. she sounds so bored when she sings.

Yeah, but honestly, I just don't think this album is much worse that NFR, sorry I really don't. If you liked NFR from all the hype (and to me liking an album is usually 3.5) I can see you docking 1 - 1.5 because it's more of the same, kinda coming out at 2 or so. If you didn't like NFR from the hype last time, would you check this out?

Sorry Norma, but we'll have to disagree, people are jumping on this for a variety of reasons and not all of them are musical.

I checked a few off this prob doesn't warrant a 1/5 but reading this review it seems like johnny's opinion / score for it is well written and justified and even if it wasn't it's just an opinion so idk. Silly drama 1s on here are because ppl cyber-bullying johnny [2] and at end of day ratings are like just numbers wasn't that like the whole point of nfr like fuck the critics imma do me still you can hate and not understand

I agree with this general point. From my own personal perspective I guess this wouldn’t have normally be on my radar, if I was like Doof and listened to EVERYTHING I’d probably give out 1s like wildfire. Essentially if I’m bored throughout it’s a 1/5, music doesn’t have to be consistently unbearable to score 1/5 (especially when you factor in that 0.5s don’t actually exist).

Yeah Norma, but people giving this a 1 before the Stan invasion - I still think might be about her public persona and I'd still say that a few of those people didn't listen to the album. Still classify that as emotional. Like the way I am about ed Sheeran

I don't get the hate for this. Sure Lana had much better records, but it's nowhere horrible. Average at worst.

I like White Dress, Tulsa Jesus Freak and Yosemite. The last three songs really drag, ngl. The record would be better without them.

def gonna give this an unbiased shot, def dig some of her vibes off her earlier songs but opener on here isn't v promising
