I take it as he's a vegas ridden addict but to each his own
i totally get that a lot from the hmv/target exclusive cover and from the remix cover but not from this one, that backdrop throws me off so hard

pots gets intimidated. his attack fell!
|
| |
noler gets defensive. its not very effective

tell me the "rising star sneers at those who ever doubted them" story isn't a tad generic and over-done
i dont like the alb but i'm glad that aint the theme, i can fuck with the casino psychedelia.

THERE CAN BE 100 PEOPLE IN THE ROOM...

over-done and ever-relevant because of viewers like you! Thank You!
Also glad the actual music is Casino-Psychedelia and not generic bragging. If the whole album was like "Heartless," it would get old fast.

not liking something =/= tearing down his accomplishments, i've liked his other shit and followed him the whole way along and his career trajectory is super impressive. plus he's canadian dude, i'm all for him being this successful. take a few breaths buddy.

nah he just done ate himself some of that good-good
|

Well then give that second shot, cuz I stand by my statement that this sounds like something you’d enjoy if you gave it a real shot.

what exactly is the theme?
i just htought it was about him being more in touch with his feelings and more open to actually falling in love and shit like on call out my name EP or whatever it was

The story behind the album is Abel getting sad that he fucked up his relationship with Bella Hadid, then going to Vegas to go back to his old ways (i.e get fucked up and fuck around), eventually he OD's and realizes he still loves her too much and he is not the same man he was before. That's the gist of it, I think.

(the chorus in) Heartless seems to me like
> just got out of a relationship
> meets someone new, this person knows his past
> things are good
> makes serious strides into being a better person/committing
> things go bad
> they say "what do you care? you've always been a heartless lowlife anyways"
> "you're right, what if i am exactly that?"
almost certain that lyrics are based on throwing words back in someone's face but also accepting them a la self-fulfilling prophecy. the song is a giant cope, and i dig that.

Lemme rephrase, Repeat After Me, Snowchild and Heartless are the best songs here. But how has no one talked about the interlude...just cuz it says interlude doesn't mean it's not a banger shit is 3min long
