glad the new album rules. I haven't jammed it yet, but i read a recent interview with their singer connie and it sounds like she's been through a lot struggling with opioid addiction and nearly dying

this band always felt like one of those groups that could've just ended abruptly after releasing one album, and i'm so glad that wasn't the case

new one is more entertaining than this one but as soon as I was done with it I jammed Firing Squad and boy I miss that sound

would rather have them ripping off Fear Before again rather than Risecore shit

vague is an absolute banger

This EP is definitely just foreplay though, and its being advertised as a comic book strangely enough. Really excited to see where they go from here, what a cliffhanger ending though it kinda freaked me out haha

Vague and Disposable Care are my favorite 2 tracks on the ep/album/whatever you wanna call it.

Also this band's latest album is still incredible and is a top 3 core album of the year.

If someone told me the new album was recorded in the late 2000s and then released over a decade later, I would believe them.

Sounds a lot like that Here I Come Falling album from 2008 as well as a bunch of other "emo" bands from those years.

Yeah I'm digging how theres bands out there still trying to bring back the early 2000s variants of core, cus its waaaaay better than hearing bands just lazily throw together some djenty riffs for a whole album.

i think I like this and the ep a lot more than their new album.

hate to jump on the hating bandwagon, but i'm really not huge on the clean vocals. they aren't bad at times, but used too much for my tastes

Like, these guys are alright, but sound-wise it’s nothing special. I’ll still spin them when they drop new stuff but I don’t quite understand why the corekids love them.

its just scene worship, theyre really not doing anything special or innovative. when they go hard they go hard tho
