I didn't like Unsainted's chorus when the song was first released, but it grew on me. I actually think the choir is a nice touch. My Pain would've been better if they shortened it but I don't think I'd like Not Long unless they completely changed that riff.
I kinda wish A Liar's Funeral had been moved to the end, too. Solway is my favorite song here but it doesn't work as a closer imo. the acoustics and emotion in Funeral give it much more of that kind of a vibe.

I think the true revolution of this album lies on the second part of it, otherwise it would run the risk of being obnoxiously formulaic. That said, Birth of the Cruel and Nero Forte are still bangers, even with that in mind.
A Liar's Funeral is also my fave (with Orphan), mainly after the Stone Sour first 2 verses.

Unsainted without that preeminent choir would probably be the most oldschool (first three albums) Slipknot song of the whole album.
From Corey's attempted Iowa rapscreams, to the tempo, riffing and overall song structure.

I m feeling as I felt with APC's latest release - a bold approach on mainstream music, which I highly praise the decision, much cause their sound was kinda stuck.

They don’t though? They usually cut before the next track starts. There’s really no transition on my playlist that sounds less natural than the album order. Why do you get so bent out of shape when listen to an album in a way that I prefer

Finally got around to listening. Really loving this. I like it nearly as much as Vol 3 (my favorite Slipknot), but can’t say it’s better. At least not yet. Let’s see how it grows. But currently:
