"Thing is I never listen to music just for the sake of listening to music."
Knowing that there's people who can't spend time just listening to music makes me kind of sad to be honest.

Sorry I don’t have hours to sit on my couch and do nothing but listen Lol
Don’t get me wrong, back in high school and whatnot I would spend HOURS a day doing nothing but listening to music. But that’s just not realistic when you grow up. Unless you have absolutely no other hobbies

@Wonder: Then I think you should know that the projected runtime for what I want to drop next year is roughly around 38-39 minutes, no need to dread my shit ;)

No jamming at work isn’t possible. I’m a Team Lead at a target and all I do for my entire shift is run over he entire building doing shit constantly. There is no downtime lol. Except my lunch but I use that to, uh, eat

Yeah, it's understandable, but it genuinely makes me a bit sad because listening to music is one of the few things I actually enjoy. I wish more people could spend time just listening to music, but that isn't even an option for a lot of people.

I will be honest, I spend approx an hour a day playing video games (today it was 20 min) so I could realistically fit in a little more time for music but still not to any amount that I’d have any interest in digesting 2 hour works. Which is why I heavily steer towards 30-40 min albums (and which is why I 100% endorse more artists taking the Wyoming project 7 track route)

I guess playing videogames instead of just listening to music is reasonable if music isn't like your favorite thing ever; you can have music in the background and hear it, but you can't... Just kind of play a videogame or something like that.

Yeah music is prob my second favorite thing. Only reason I place video games above it right now is because I’ve loved gaming since I was 5 or 6, played heavily til I was 16 and haven’t had a chance to beat more than 2 or 3 games since then (I’m 21 now) and I just finally got a little more free time (that hour or so I was talking about that I do play) now that I’m out of college and everything so I choose to utilize it to do my hobby that I’ve had to completely ignore for 5 years. At least music can be enjoyed while doing other things haha. But yeah that’s why I’m saying obviously you can listen more if you don’t have much in the way of other hobbies but

I played games more than listened to music in 2017, which explains how little 2017 music I jammed compared to 2018, but I kinda quit gaming except for short periods.

Personally I have a lot of free time, so I can play a lot of videogames and listen to a lot of music, and on top of that I can practice with my instrument and waste my time doing stupid shit on the Internet. Yay.
