And he refuses to answer my messages asking about the lyrics, what answers to the universe he holds, and who the illuminati are. Very frustrating.

I think he’s a very “make your own meaning” kind of guy. Super nice though, will never forget him walking up to me in Charlotte last year when we got there super early and just hanging out and talking for a while

I miss the No Wings to Speak Of lyrical themes. This has an amazing atmosphere but not much beyond that.

Jay is very hard to decipher even though he sings clean. How does one manage to do that? Lol still love his vocals.

My guess is it's just the way his clean vocals are produced.

I got the answers regarding "Saskatchewan." He humoured me cuz it was unreleased at that point and because I live there.

Hey, this is really good. Catchy and heavy as hell.

This record is more straightforward and cohesive than MN, in my opinion. MN has songs that branch out into different directions, making them more difficult to pin down a theme. It's more meandering. Tracks blend together.

Arbiter has something about it that brings the melodies full circle; they're catchy and finite and easier to get your arms around. I feel like it has a destination and the band gets you there.

That's not to say I haven't enjoyed MN or that it's without merit.

I dunno if I'd call it their best but I certainly agree that it's a stunner.

Yeah this album still bops. Will never get enough of H.A. Wallace Space Academy.

They posted a picture of a studio board just the other day so looks like we may be hearing some more new tunes!
