'these guys don't have a bad song'

They have ups & downs like all artists, but I'd agree that nothing is flat-out bad. Very solid song-writers.

I'm listening to the Cornucopia myself right now. Should get me through most of the day at work.

I’d be interested to see what you guys see as their best work, both album-wise & song-wise. For me they haven’t yet topped the Gastronomicon t/t, such a beast of a song.

It's gonna take me a while to form that opinion but rest assured I'll be sharing it.

Demon. Would you say you like more Gastronomicon because it has a more classic, perhaps melodic DM, approach in general?

The 1st one it has a more "muffier"/ "sludgier" mix, and less technical. Dim and Slimeridden Kingdoms has more metalcore features, maybe it drives you a little off...

Gastronomicon is probably their most consistent work, but all their albums are really good.

The Spectral Burrows is my favorite song, I dig the Gojira mind tripping vibe.

Gojira fuckin rules! And yeah they have lot of this esoteric xamanic feel, such as Slugdge in a lot of songs.

a 4.5 album - with some of their best songs - Flying Wales and Heaviest Matter in the Universe. A bit to long (more than 1h) to enter Gojira but one their most praised.

i've fuckin fived it cause its just awesome for me (but of course its arguable)...all tracks are beautiful and its just not as repetitive as Mars to Sirius sometimes may get.

fave tracks: Oroborus and Art of Dying

oh and if you guys like Lamb of God there's a feat on the song Adoration for None.

easier to get in i'd say
