Nice dude. Juturna and On Letting Go are my favorites for sure. The feeling/vibe that they capture in those albums is just nuts. There isn't really anything that I can compare those albums to. I saw someone refer to Juturna as ethereal a while back and that's probably the best word to describe it.

Ethereal definitely fits that album as a description.

Getting blown away by this atm. The last Circa Survive album that did that to me was BSN.

Rites of Investiture and Flesh and Bone/The Amulet are the standouts here, but every song have something. I've never heard Antony sings as well as he does on Flesh and Bone, he even reminds me of Eisley at the end with his highs.

Descensus is so underrated. That, Juturna and BSN are their best imo.

I probably didn't make any kind of top ten albums for 2017 and didn't think about it either...that being said...thinking about it now I believe this may have been a top 10 or 15 album that year.

Agreed. Imo this is easily their best album since BSN. Gotta spin it again soon.

Anthony Green has to be one of the most iconic artists in post hardcore right?

Lustration is this band's best lead single.

Lustration > Get Out > Act Appalled > Schema > Medicine/Poison > Suitcase

I almost wanna put Suitcase over medicine/poison since I think i've more emotionally connected with it but it feels wrong to put that song last.

all 6 of these are stellar, let's be honest

Eh, fair enough, Circa Survive really standout from the other Post-Hardcore bands to me. They have Indie Rock/Post Rock textures to their sound that's very unique to them, it's what draws me to them so much.

Also, band is close to being one of those 3.8 on every album bands lol (ala Chevelle), Violent Waves messing it up -_-'

yeah, i enjoy circa survive in a different way than I enjoy the other bands I listen to, if it makes sense? i liked saosin ep better but circa survive is unique enough for me to prefer it. one of my fav bands of all time tbh
