Can't help but think this album came out a couple years too late tbh. Shit sounds straight outta 2014

They can write catchy tunes but this is mad corny and has no ball hairs

This is gonna be one of those albums that'll be praised in like 20 years.

This is gonna be one of those albums that'll be praised in like 20 years.

I hope not, I am a really big LP fanboy but with the exception of the outliers that are decent for the standars of an indie pop group this is dull and it was transparent that mike and chester were aiming to mimic Imagine Dragons and 21 pilots. LP in all the records with the exception of the hunting party pick up sounds that were trendy at the moment but they also add their own elements to the equation, on the other hand OML is not even a LP record, is seems more like mike and chester pop duo project, is depressing that this has become chester's swansong

Atleast they had fun making it. I feel like they did this just to get a taste of writing a pop record and bringing in people that help write a song. Heard they had a collab with Martin Garrix as well, would be cool if they still released that on an upcoming LPU

first song on their first album is Papercut, last song on their (highly probable) last album is Sharp Edges

agreed, that and a couple others here are really tough to listen to

I would ignore the rest of the album and cite his literal swansong as the title track "One More Light." Not only is it suiting, but its by far the best song on the album.

It’s actually a great song. Strangely I’m beginning to actually like “Heavy” now too. Guess it’s the context and all but it’s really not a bad song.

a lot of this is surprisingly more tolerable now that I'm listening to it again. could just be recent events and the context having an influence, though.

kinda sucks that Sharp Edges is the last song Chester ever appeared on considering it very well might be the single worst song in Linkin Park's entire discography.

they can't all die after 'In My Time of Dying' like Cornell did.
