Garage Sound from a band who isn't since 1983....20 years ago they don't even get close of the sound of Kill Em' ALl which is not hard to beat. It's a total dissapointment. RICK RUBIN.... SAVE THEM PLEASE!!!!

I will admit, I am not a Metallica fan. I have respect for their first two albums, Kill 'Em All and Ride the Lighting, but the first was mostly written by Dave Mustaine anyway. That being said, this album sucked on ice. Beyond my biased nature that leans towards Megadeth, this has to be the stupidest effort Metallica never made. My suggestion: Dont cut your hair!!!

Dude Mustaine didnt write the rythem parts. James did. Dave just did the solos. Anyways, they recorded Kill em All after Mustaine got booted.

The album has credit written to him all over it. I seriously doubt it was just for solos. Im sure you have heard of Megadeth's Mechanix? Its the same. Why? Because Dave wrote the riff. And many others.

On the record/cd/whatever you call it, it gives song-writing credit to Dave Mustaine, something like Lennon/McCartney kind of thing. The rest is a rant about Megadeth that had the same riff as "Four Horseman" and is called Mechanix. Dave wrote the riff, and the only change in Mechanix is that its faster and thrashier. Check it out sometime. If you like Metallica, you'll like a lot of Megadeth stuff.

Megadeth pretty much sucks a lot in my ears, and that Mechanix song is pretty bad, The Four Horsemen is much more cool than Mechanix, plus Dave's voice is one of the most annoying ive heard.
