Solid album. Dark Necessities, Goodbye Angels, Encore, The Hunter were the tracks I enjoyed.

Ugh Goodbye Angels is so good. The guitar solo after the bass breakdown is so captivating.
Also hot take, but I really enjoy the piano work in these songs. It just adds another layer.

Don't remember listening to all of this, but Dark Necessities has been stuck in my head for the last 5 years. I should re-listen

it's a safe song, but it continues right where they left on Stadium Arcadium. JF's guitar sound is characteristic, Flea's playing nice licks on the bass again and Anthony is Anthony

The title track is still great, lots of nice guitar work. Josh suited this band well, it's going to be awkward when John leaves again and Josh won't answer their calls.
|
| |
Yup. They should have kept Josh around.

yeah, after all, why not have two guitarists around? What's the big deal?

"This album brings back so many memories"
Same here honestly, 6 years doesn't seem like a long time but a lot has changed since then, generally and personally. When I think of summer 2016 this album definitely comes to mind.
